India 2023: Emergency aid for an ambulance

At the start of 2023, our partner BGR asked us to help fund an emergency project, which we were happy to do.

They had received an urgent appeal from the non-profit organisation Sanghakaya Foundation in India, led by Ajahn Prasheel Ratna Gautam, requesting the essential purchase of a mobile ventilator for an ambulance. A further US$4,000 was required to fund the project, which we were able to provide promptly thanks to your generous donations. The organisation is based in Nagpur, India, where our project with the Bhodicitta Foundation of the Venerable Ayya Yeshe is also located. 

We are delighted that we were able to provide additional, timely assistance to those in particular need and the sick in our project area. Thank you very much.
