Thanks to your donations, we will be able to invest a total of USD 60,000 in direct aid to fund our ongoing projects during the 2026–2027 project year!
We are delighted that these projects allow us to make a small contribution towards redress and justice. Please continue to support our work this year, and let us work together to help others through compassion, action and generosity.
At MiA, 100% of project donations (with no deduction for administrative or organisational costs) goes directly to aid projects on the ground. With the exception of emergency aid in times of crisis, we collect funds during the current year to be used in the following year. We select, support and monitor all projects according to the criteria of ‘helping people to help themselves’ and sustainability. Project applications are evaluated between January and March, and in April we decide which projects to fund and the amount of funding allocated. Project funding approvals are then granted from July of one year to June of the following year. We currently support the following projects in the context of development cooperation:
MiA supports 12 of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through its activities and projects:
MiA exclusively supports poverty reduction projects in developing and emerging
